What you'll do
- 2-5 years’ experience in Air Export Operations.
- In-depth knowledge of air export procedures.
- Ability to be profit-conscious.
- Ability to work with demanding deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks, must be organized.
- Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and accurate, and have the ability to efficiently solve problems.
- Strong PC skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively and efficiently via phone and e-mail.
- Good planning and organization skills; ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of Air Export compliance procedures with TSA, CBP, US Census, etc.
What you need
- Coordination of all aspects of Air Export from time of quoting to file closing.
- Scheduling of pick-ups daily.
- Responsible for rating shipments correctly.
- Correspondence with customers, vendors, and overseas offices.
- Work closely with other departments to deliver a high level of service to customers.
- Familiar with arranging direct shipments, consolidations, and domestic airfreight loads.
- Filing AES and issuing airway bill instructions.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Establishment of best practices and the performance of duties in accordance with internal and client established KPI’s.
- Maintain assigned book of business successfully, along with strong attention to detail on everything customer service and finance-related.
