Annuity Specialist
Position Description
I. Position Responsibilities
The Annuity Specialist is the primary inside point of contact for independent agents and distribution partners selling our annuity products. This role builds and maintains agent relationships, generates market interest, and supports sales and marketing initiatives that drive application flow and production. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by building relationships by phone and in virtual settings.

The position has no direct reports but uses persuasion and influence to motivate agents to place business with the company and to secure timely support from internal teams.
Interaction is primarily informative and coordinative: educating agents on products and processes, promoting sales initiatives, and coordinating case and service needs across departments. The role reports to and works regularly with the direct supervisor and the EVP, Annuity Distribution, and interacts daily with external agents, distribution partners, and the sales team.
This position directly impacts LBIG’s success by strengthening agent loyalty, increasing application flow and production, and delivering a responsive, high-quality experience that sets the company apart with its distribution partners.
