JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION As an Asset Management Summer Analyst, you'll help maximize portfolio performance by analyzing property and financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and evaluating operational trends across multifamily assets. You'll gain exposure to both asset management and property management functions while working with experienced professionals to make data-driven recommendations that support investment performance and business objectives. What you'll do: Analyze financial, operational, and market data to support portfolio performance evaluations Assist in preparing client-facing reports, portfolio reviews, and property performance presentations Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across multifamily assets Review revenue, expense, occupancy, and rent trends to identify opportunities and risks Conduct market research and competitive analyses to support due diligence and strategic decision-making Assist in evaluating property performance against budgets and key financial benchmarks Partner with asset management and property management teams to support operational and financial initiatives Complete a capstone project and present findings to team leaders at the end of the internship Qualifications: Strong desire to learn about real estate investment and asset management Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Foundational Excel and financial modeling skills preferred Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, real estate, business, economics, or a related field Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028 The Summer Internship Experience: The Greystar Summer Internship Program packs 10 weeks with real projects, real responsibility, and real connections. You'll dive straight into the action on a team like Investment, Finance, Marketing, IT, Data, Leasing, Development, or Operations—doing work that actually moves the needle, not just watching from the sidelines. Along the way, you'll get a front-row seat to the rest of the business too, through: Executive Speaker Series — hear directly from the people leading the industry Business Segment Overviews — get the full picture of how each part of Greystar works Mentor Relationships — build connections that go beyond the summer Site Visits — see the work happening in the field, up close Community Outreach — give back alongside your team Networking Opportunities — meet people across the company You'll close out the summer by presenting your Final Capstone Project, your chance to show off what you built, what you learned, and the impact you made. Program dates: June 1, 2027 – August 6, 2027 Additional Compensation: Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location. Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance. Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
