Assistant Teacher West View Campus | Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County 25–29 hours/week | $21.65–$22.97 DOE/DOQ Preschoolers bring a lot to the classroom: big imaginations, endless questions, strong opinions, unexpected ideas, and plenty of energy. We're looking for an Assistant Teacher at West View who is ready to meet that energy with patience, warmth, and a sense of fun. Working alongside a Lead Teacher, you'll help create a classroom where children feel safe to explore, play, build friendships, and try things for themselves. One part of your day might involve a story or creative activity; another might mean helping children work through a disagreement, encouraging someone who's hesitant to participate, or turning an ordinary moment into an opportunity to learn. We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of children's growth and understands that every day won't go exactly according to plan. You'll bring consistency, positive energy, and a willingness to jump in wherever you're needed. Experience working with young children is a plus, but a genuine desire to learn and help children thrive matters just as much. We'll provide training and support to help you succeed. Because our classrooms serve families throughout the day, candidates must be available Monday through Friday and have the flexibility to work opening or closing shifts . If you're ready for work that's active, meaningful, occasionally messy, and filled with opportunities to help children become a little more confident and independent each day, we'd love to meet you. Apply today and bring your patience, curiosity, and enthusiasm to our West View team.
