Position Summary:
The Associate Charter Broker is a developmental charter sales role designed to
build the commercial, client-service, market, and business-development
capabilities required for progression within Fraser Yachts Charter Retail.
Working under the supervision of the Charter Director and a designated Mentor,
the Associate will develop new charter opportunities, re-engage assigned
contacts, support existing client activity, and progressively build an
individual client portfolio while delivering the high level of service expected
of Fraser.
The role forms part of Fraser’s Charter Mentorship Program, which has an
anticipated maximum duration of 24 months from full transition into the
Associate Charter Broker role. Program duration and progression may vary based
on business needs, performance, and Fraser’s decision-making.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Re-engage with and follow up on CRM contacts assigned to the Mentor, with the
objective of developing qualified charter opportunities and generating new
business.
* Proactively identify, develop, and introduce new charter contacts to Fraser
Yachts that are not already in the CRM, maintaining consistent and
appropriate follow-up.
* Support the Mentor with existing clients, prospects, charter enquiries, and
ongoing commercial activity as requested.
* Learn to respond to charter enquiries in a timely, professional, and
client-focused manner and support the preparation of suitable yacht options
and charter proposals.
* Develop and maintain accurate client, prospect, and activity records in the
CRM in accordance with Fraser processes.
* Build knowledge of the superyacht charter market, Fraser’s charter fleet,
cruising destinations, industry practices, and the end-to-end charter
process.
* Develop relationships across Fraser and the wider industry to support client
service, lead generation, and future business development.
* Participate in relevant client, networking, industry, and boat-show
activities as requested and appropriate to the Associate’s stage of
development.
* Complete the objectives, activities, learning requirements, and KPIs
established for the Mentorship Program.
* Participate actively in scheduled progress reviews, coaching, and development
activities and apply feedback to ongoing performance.
Key Result Areas:
* Business Development & Lead Generation: Consistently generate and develop new
charter leads, re-engage assigned CRM contacts, and maintain an active
pipeline of qualified opportunities.
* Client Development & Service: Support responsive, professional service to
prospects and existing clients while progressively developing the skills
required to manage charter relationships and build a personal client
portfolio.
* Commercial Performance: Work toward the personal transaction, new listing,
and other commercial targets established for each stage or year of the
Mentorship Program.
* CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate, current records of contacts,
activity, follow-up, and opportunities and demonstrate disciplined management
of assigned and self-generated leads.
* Learning & Development: Achieve agreed monthly learning objectives and
demonstrate increasing knowledge of yachts, destinations, charter practices,
client needs, and Fraser processes.
* Mentorship Program Progress: Meet the objectives and KPIs established with
the Mentor, participate in regular reviews, and demonstrate measurable
progression in independence, judgment, client management, and business
development capability.
* Collaboration & Brand Representation: Work effectively with the Mentor,
Charter Director, Charter Retail colleagues, and other Fraser teams while
representing the Fraser brand professionally in all client and industry
interactions.
Key Performance Indicators:
KPIs will be established and periodically reviewed based on the Associate’s
stage in the program and may include:
* Number of new leads generated each month.
* Number of Mentor-assigned leads actively handled each month.
* Personal transaction and new listing targets for each program year.
* Personal learning and development objectives for each month.
Objectives and KPIs may be adjusted as the Associate progresses through the
program or as business needs change.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn and consistently
use Fraser CRM and other business systems.
* Flexibility to support a global client base across time zones and to travel
or attend industry events as business needs require.
Progress and Development
Formal progress reviews will generally be conducted with the Mentor
approximately every two months to assess performance against agreed objectives
and KPIs, review development progress, and establish next steps. Additional
meetings may be scheduled as needed.
The Associate Charter Broker role and Mentorship Program are developmental in
nature. Successful completion may result in consideration for transition to a
fully operative Charter Broker role; however, participation in or completion of
the program does not guarantee promotion, a particular position, compensation
level, or continued employment.
