POSITION OVERVIEW
Taycor Financial, powered by North Mill Equipment Finance LLC is seeking an Associate Equipment Finance Specialist (AEFS) to join our equipment finance sales team. The AEFS is an entry-level sales role designed to develop the next generation of Taycor equipment finance professionals.
The AEFS will work directly with equipment dealers, OEMs, vendor partners, and end-user customers to identify financing opportunities, develop relationships, structure transactions, and drive business from submission through funding.
This role provides exposure to the full equipment finance sales cycle while developing the skills necessary to progress into a National Account Equipment Finance Specialist and ultimately National Account – Vendor Finance Specialist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
* Develop and maintain relationships with equipment dealers, OEMs, vendor partners, and end-user customers.
* Identify new financing opportunities within existing and prospective relationships.
* Proactively follow up on applications, approvals, and opportunities to convert approved transactions into funded business.
* Learn Taycor’s vendor programs, financing products, credit parameters, and target industries.
* Develop the ability to identify quality opportunities and match customers and transactions with Taycor’s financing capabilities.
* Participate in sales calls, vendor meetings, and business-development activities.
Transaction Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and partners throughout the financing process.
* Work closely with credit, operations, and documentation teams to move transactions efficiently from submission to funding.
* Gather and communicate the information necessary for credit review and transaction approval.
* Help structure transactions that meet customer needs while remaining within Taycor’s credit and program guidelines.
* Maintain consistent follow-up and communication to maximize conversion and provide an exceptional customer and vendor experience.
Relationship Development
* Build trusted relationships with vendor and OEM partners and become a knowledgeable resource on Taycor’s financing solutions.
* Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and increase repeat business.
* Understand the equipment, industries, and business models supported by Taycor.
* Develop a strong understanding of how financing can help vendors sell more equipment while supporting their customers’ capital needs.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
The AEFS is expected to develop into a productive equipment finance sales professional. Success will be measured through:
* New business generation and funded volume.
* Development and growth of vendor and customer relationships.
* Application-to-approval and approval-to-funding conversion.
* Responsiveness and transaction turnaround.
* Quality and consistency of submitted business.
* Growth of repeat and referral business.
* Demonstrated understanding of Taycor’s products, credit appetite, industries, and equipment markets.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
The AEFS position is designed as the first step in a long-term equipment finance sales career at Taycor.
AEFS → National Accounts - EFS → National Accounts / AFS
As individuals demonstrate sales ability, product knowledge, relationship-management skills, and consistent production, they will assume increasing responsibility for vendor relationships, business development, transaction structuring, and ultimately their own book of business.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is competitive, energetic, relationship-oriented, and motivated by the opportunity to build a career in sales. They should be comfortable communicating with business owners and equipment professionals and have the drive to develop new relationships and generate business.
Credit knowledge and financial acumen are important, but this is fundamentally a sales role. We are looking for individuals who want to learn the equipment finance business, understand how to sell financing as a solution, and eventually become independent producers. No industry experience required. Sales experience preferred.
The successful AEFS will combine sales discipline, relationship building, financial understanding, and a strong sense of urgency to deliver results for Taycor’s customers and vendor partners.
