THE JOB:
The Event Operations Associate will provide operational and administrative support across the Event Productions team. All duties are performed in accordance with department standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.
THE STARTING RATE: $19.50 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Maintain and manage departmental consumable inventory, including monitoring stock levels, completing inventory counts, restocking supplies, and ensuring items are organized and readily available as needed.
Coordinate the purchasing of consumable inventory, event materials, operational supplies, and other items as needed; place orders and communicate with vendors regarding order status and delivery.
Coordinate and manage shipping and receiving, including accepting, tracking, organizing, and distributing incoming and outgoing shipments and materials; communicate with appropriate departments and vendors regarding deliveries and shipment status.
Maintain accurate consumable inventory records within the department’s event management system; update inventory information and complete necessary forms, reports, logs, and other documentation.
Maintain organized and efficient operational areas, ensuring materials, supplies, and incoming items are properly organized and accessible.
Complete assigned projects and provide additional operational support to Event Productions departments as needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Has 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in a related position preferably in a warehouse setting
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
Has 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in administrative roles - Preferred
Experience working in a similar warehouse setting - Preferred
