This position will be located at our Aeronautics sector in Palmdale, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Production Engineering & Operations (PE&O) organization. Roles and Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations. Monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures. Assist with technical administrative tasks, including but not limited to hiring initiatives (such as forecasting, requisition tracking, attrition management, and onboarding), staff meetings, and employee engagement support, as well as any additional responsibilities as needed. This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Manufacturing Analyst (A01)/ Manufacturing Analyst (A02). Basic Qualifications for an Associate Manufacturing Analyst (A01): Bachelor’s Degree with 0 years of experience Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Must have the ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, Engineering, and Production Ability to work for extended periods of time at a workstation on a computer or similar device for up to 10 hours / duration of shift Occasional extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling Ability to work any shift/schedule as determined by the business This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs Ability to travel at least 10% Basic Qualifications for an Manufacturing Analyst (A02): Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Must have the ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, Engineering, and Production Ability to work for extended periods of time at a workstation on a computer or similar device for up to 10 hours / duration of shift Occasional extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling Ability to work any shift/schedule as determined by the business This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs Ability to travel at least 10% Preferred Qualifications: Active U.S. Government security clearance Previous finance/cost experience CAD experience (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) Experience working with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Bill of Materials) Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
