What You’ll Do Under the supervision of Residential Services leadership, interns may: Assist with quality-assurance reviews and documentation audits Support compliance monitoring for Medicaid and state requirements Help organize individual records, training documentation, incident reports, and compliance materials Participate in residential visits and provider-support activities Assist with residential assessments and health and safety monitoring Attend interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions Communicate professionally with individuals, providers, families, guardians, and team members Learn about Host Home, Family Caregiver, PCA, and supported apartment services Observe and report health, safety, documentation, or compliance concerns Build professional relationships with residential providers and community partners Gain limited exposure to direct services to better understand residential programming Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and HIPAA standards Complete other internship projects based on learning goals and program needs What You’ll Learn Residential service coordination Medicaid-funded disability services Quality assurance and compliance Documentation and recordkeeping requirements Health, safety, and welfare monitoring Residential assessments and service planning Host Home and community-based residential services Provider relations and professional communication Interdisciplinary team collaboration Person-centered care and disability advocacy Who Should Apply?
