Position Snapshot Location: Washington, NC Schedule: 4pm - 12am including every other weekend Pay: $16.82 Hour Work Setting: On site Type: Full-time Make an Impact With Us As a Behavioral Health Direct Care Technician at the Facility Based Crisis Center in Washing, NC , we help our team members embrace their potential, build resilience, and thrive! Join a team where your compassion becomes someone's turning point. What You'll Do Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while providing client support, encouragement, and motivation. Facilitate psychoeducational groups, therapeutic activities, and leisure/recreational programming. Transport clients to program activities and appointments as needed. Assist with admissions, referrals, documentation, and coordination with community agencies and treatment teams. Support discharge planning, aftercare arrangements, and housing resources. Administer medications (when certified), monitor vital signs, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate client records. What You'll Bring Entry-level, on-the-job training is provided High school diploma or GED is required Peer support certification or CNA certification a plus, but is not required Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work with no restrictions.
