About this Role Northstar Energy Solutions is looking for a Billing Specialist. As our Billing Specialist, you will turn completed field work into accurate, on-time invoices. You will enter time and prepare invoices, review customer-provided documentation such as red lines and scope changes, and keep records current. You will also be the link between our field teams, project managers, and clients. Location: 3340 Roy Orr Blvd, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 Schedule: Full time Pay Range: $22 – $24 per hour What You'll Do Prepare and process accurate invoices for completed field service work using job reports and work orders. Review customer redlines (customer markups of drawings or contracts) and related documentation for billing-related changes, scope changes, or clarifications. Coordinate with field General Foreman and project managers to verify job completion details before invoicing. Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries. Maintain accurate billing records and documentation, including time entry. Follow internal billing procedures and customer requirements to ensure compliance. Support administrative tasks related to contracts, job files, and service documentation, and keep digital and physical filing systems organized. What You'll Bring Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Ability to read and interpret basic contract language or redlined documents. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the time management to meet billing deadlines. Clear communication with field staff, project managers, and customers to resolve billing questions. Job Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or administrative support. Educational/Certification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
