AGRILAND FS is a fast-growing energy company delivering diesel, gasoline, propane, and other petroleum products to customers nationwide, with a full agronomy business alongside. Our small technical team builds and runs the ELEVATE application suite and the ATLAS data platform, using AI as a core part of our daily workflow rather than an occasional shortcut. We are looking for a Business Systems Administrator to start by owning core platform operations and tier-1 support across our business systems. This is not a role where you get stuck in a ticket queue forever. We do not put team members in isolated boxes. As you master our core systems ... starting with Salesforce and our surrounding toolchain ... your role will have the opportunity to expand to include business analysis such as process mapping, and custom AI-assisted application development. This role is designed for someone who wants to start grounded in systems administration and systematically build a well-rounded skill set across the entire software and business lifecycle. What You'll Do Phase 1: Core System Administration & Operations (Day 1 Focus) Tier-1 Support & Triage: Serve as the primary point of contact for user questions, support triage, and bug ticket resolution across our platforms. User & Security Management: Manage the user lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, role/profile adjustments) and permission sets within Salesforce and connected tools. Toolchain Administration: Manage and maintain our supporting toolchain, including Claude AI, Jotform, 123FormBuilder, DocsMadeEasy, backup tooling, GitHub, and ClickUp. Declarative Configuration: Perform standard Salesforce configuration (objects, flows, validation rules, page layouts) to solve immediate operational needs. Documentation: Create clear, repeatable support documentation and build out our internal knowledge base using AI assistants. Phase 2: Process Mapping & Business Analysis (Ramping around Month 6+) Process Discovery & Mapping: Partner directly with cross-departmental business units to shadow users, observe operational workflows, and map end-to-end business processes. Requirements Translation: Translate operational pain points into structured functional specs, process flowcharts, user stories, and technical requirements. System Integration Visibility: Identify process bottlenecks across departments and design system-level fixes that improve efficiency end-to-end. Phase 3: AI-Assisted Custom Development (Growing into the Stack) LWC & AWS Development: Expand into writing custom code, building Lightning Web Components in Salesforce and custom applications on our AWS serverless stack (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway). AI-Accelerated Workflow: Use AI to prototype components, generate code, write test suites, and accelerate development tasks. DevOps & Production: Learn and participate in our Git-based version control, code review processes, and CI/CD deployment pipelines. Where This Role Grows We build custom applications and view administration as the launch pad for long-term technical and professional growth. As you advance past your first 6 months, your trajectory can evolve into: End-to-End Solution Ownership: Owning projects from initial process mapping, through admin configuration and custom dev, all the way to deployment and user training. System Admin Practice Leadership: Helping establish and eventually lead a horizontal cohort of system admins across business departments to drive shared standards and DevOps processes. Specialized Career Tracks: Diving further into senior business analysis, serverless application architecture, or data platform engineering on ATLAS. What We're Looking For Administrative Foundation: Hands-on experience administering a business system (Salesforce or comparable platform) with a strong service mindset. Desire for Broader Scope: A refusal to be boxed into just one discipline; you want to learn how the whole business operates and build real development skills. Analytical Aptitude: Curiosity about business workflows, with strong problem-solving instincts and an interest in process mapping. Foundational Tech Awareness: Exposure to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or basic scripting (Python/Apex), with a strong desire to grow into hands-on development. AI Integration: Comfort using AI assistants critically in daily administrative workflows, documentation, and problem-solving. Strong Communication: Ability to build trust with business users during support and clearly communicate technical details. What we offer our team: Paid, in-house training and certification for DOT License and Endorsements for a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements Work with updated and modern equipment Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and more Paid time off, sick pay, and paid holidays Solid retirement future with a 100% company-funded Pension Plan at no cost to you, plus an additional 401k with company match Recognition and pay incentives for good job performance Are you a good match to join the AGRILAND FS Team? Apply now! AGRILAND FS is an equal opportunity employer Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing along with a background check.
