Join us as an intern on our Dell Technologies Capital Venture Organization team in Palo Alto, CA to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.   WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE Motivated internship candidate to work on various initiatives in a dynamic, fast paced environment within a premier corporate venture firm. Successfully assist and drive cross-portfolio activities within the Dell Technologies Capital venture organization.  You will deliver key market analyses, synthesize business and investment strategies, conduct startup/early-stage scans for potential investment opportunities, and assist with deal execution infrastructure development as well as financial modelling.  We want you if you are an individual with exceptional organizational, and communication skills; can handle multiple project tasks while working within deadlines and interacting effectively across many levels of management.    You will: * Conduct early-stage venture market analysis, startup landscapes, market opportunity sizing, and assess emerging venture areas * Research and develop market intelligence overviews and strategic tie-ins to Dell Technologies  * Assist in various program and initiative creation, planning, execution and communication processes * Ability to conduct primary research on a wide range of technology and business areas *   TAKE THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS YOUR DREAM CAREER EVERY DELL TECHNOLOGIES TEAM MEMBER BRINGS SOMETHING UNIQUE TO THE TABLE. HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR WITH THIS ROLE:   ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  * Undergraduate degree in Technical Field preferred * Regularly reviews technology blogs and research reports (e.g. VentureBeat, and TechCrunch, etc.) * Some working knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel and Powerpoint), Salesforce Knowledge a plus * A preliminary understanding of the venture capital industry and structure * Likes to collaborate and can work independently with a willingness to work on small projects for quick implementation with little direction   Desirable Requirements  * Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, data analysis, attention to detail * Excellent cross-group collaboration and communication skills     Compensation  Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
