Caregiver & Med Aide

WATERS EDGE LODGE IS LOOKING FOR A CAREGIVER/MED AIDE FOR THE PM SHIFT! PAY RATE- $20.30 PER HOUR FOR PCA SHIFTS, AND $24.30 PER HOUR FOR MED SHIFTS PM SHIFT IS 2:30PM-11:00PM The primary functions of a caregiver and med aide are: * Assist frail elderly with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, brief changes, showering, etc.) * Administer medications * Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining privacy and dignity * Monitor resident activity and functional status * React timely to resident pull cords/alerts We are looking for a full time employee. * Regular full-time schedule is 4-on, 2-off * On-call/PRN also available Minimum qualifications are: * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment * Basic computer skills * Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents * Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals * Ability to lift 150 pounds Employment requirements include: * current COVID19 vaccination * Routine COVID tests * Physical * TB test * Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice Waters Edge Lodge is nestled in a unique and peaceful setting on the lagoon of Harbor Bay.
