Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA)
Location: Berwyn East Place-88 units- located in Columbus, Ohio
Pay: $20.00 an hour
Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 17 hours/week | Alternating Weekends
About the Role
National Church Residences is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide direct support to residents in our Permanent Supportive Housing community.
What You’ll Do
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and restorative care.
Monitor and document vital signs and resident needs.
Report changes in residents' physical or mental condition.
Assist with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
Support resident room cleanliness and organization.
Assist with approved errands, shopping, prescription pickup, and other resident needs.
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and resident rights requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Current CNA or STNA certification/license required based on state.
High school diploma/GED preferred.
Previous direct-care or resident-support experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently.
Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and physical care needs.
