What you'll do
- Assists nurses, providers and physicians and provides direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting.
- Performs procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated and cares for patients from newborn to elderly.
What you need
- Requires current Medical Assistant registration or certification, completion of a Medical Assistant program with certification within one year of hire, or current LPN licensure in the relevant state.
- BCLS certification is required or must be obtained within three months.
