Clinical RN-Nurse Educator

RN-Nurse Educator-Part Time 20-30 hours per week The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented Registered Nurse for a Part Time Educator position. This is an exciting position and key clinical role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis. This is a part time position, with flexible scheduling options available-some off shift/weekend availability will be required, on occasion, to assist in the successful skill assessment of nursing staff. Some of your daily activities will include assisting in the development, implementation, and delivery of the nursing staff development programs including: orientation, in-service education, continuing education, competencies, and nursing student experiences. This is an exciting and dynamic position that offers a wide variety of problem solving and management for a self- motivated individual! We would love to talk to those who have a valid RN license in the state of New York with a degree in Education or a related field. 2+ years supervisory and clinical experience in skilled nursing, medical surgical nursing or related field, prior educator or training experience (3 + years preferred) with prior experience working with a learning management system (LMS) strongly preferred.
