Ford is seeking a hands-on engineer to help its members access data and use the cloud-based tools and internal applications that support their work. This role bridges data, cloud infrastructure, and user support: it helps manage data-access workflows, maintain development environments, deploy internal applications, and coordinate with the teams responsible for Ford’s data and cloud platforms.
The role primarily supports internally facing development tools and analysis environments rather than externally facing production systems. It also supports the team’s internal website and web applications, which may serve users outside the immediate data team. Success requires practical technical problem-solving, clear communication, careful handling of access and governance processes, and the ability to help colleagues move from a working prototype to a usable, supported application.
