About the Role:
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients within healthcare settings. This position focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. The CNA collaborates closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly. By providing essential support in hygiene, mobility, and nutrition, the CNA contributes significantly to the overall well-being and recovery of patients. Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program.
Valid CNA certification/license as required by the state or local regulatory authority.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Additional training in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.
Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.
