Our interns are not here to “just observe." They collaborate with experienced professionals, sharpen their skills, and leave with tangible accomplishments to add to their resume.   What You’ll Gain * Practical experience applying classroom knowledge to real-world construction projects * Mentorship from accounting professionals  * Networking in the construction industry * Competitive hourly wage   Key Responsibilities As an Accounting Intern, your assignments may include: * Assisting with accounts payable processing, including coding and entering subcontractor and vendor invoices * Supporting project cost tracking, job cost reporting, and budget reconciliation * Helping with payroll data entry, timekeeping verification, and related documentation * Assisting in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting the month-end close process * Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, contracts, and compliance documentation * Supporting the accounting team with audit preparation, lien waivers, and general ledger entries   What You’ll Bring * Current enrollment in an accredited program in accounting or a related field * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation  * Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills * Clear written and verbal communication abilities * Self-motivated and eager to learn * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite   Our People At Boyd Jones, our people are our most valuable asset.
