What you'll do
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 2 years applying engineering principles in controls engineering, industrial automation, renewable energy, power generation, water treatment, manufacturing, or related technical environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% domestically
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT) , H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
- 5 or more years of experience working in control system engineering
- Experience working directly with customers in a technical or project execution capacity
- Familiarity with Emerson Ovation software and hardware products
- Knowledge of control system applications, distributed control systems, or SCADA platforms
- Interest in mentoring or supporting the development of less experienced engineers
