We are looking for a talented Database Engineer excited to build fast, secure, and scalable data solutions to support a c ustomer-first experience in a fast-paced team environment while still respecting your work/life balance. About the Role Database Development: Participate in a n agile project development with Application and Web Developers to provide quality solutions to end users and customers Write and tune Microsoft SQL queries for fast and efficient storage and retrieval of data Co mpose custom T - SQL stored procedures, views, and functions as necessary for project work Review Indexing to improve q uery performance Database Design & Modeling: Design logical schema and normalized data structures for custom applications Preserve d ata integrity on custom transactional databases for large and complex datasets Participate in s ystem a rchitecture ( logical and physical design of the environment ) Ethically handling privacy data for customers and business Database Administration: Monitor , configur e and optim ize the performance of Microsoft SQL Ser ver databases using PowerShell Maintain h igh a vailability and disaster recovery Ensure fast d atabase backups on & off-site for a reliable recovery solution.
