Assist chairside during general dental and surgical procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, surgical equipment, instruments, and trays for planned procedures. Take dental X-rays, panoramic images, and CBCT scans when appropriately trained and authorized. Review medical histories and medications, take vital signs, and confirm consent forms are complete. Help patients understand oral hygiene recommendations and dentist-directed preoperative and postoperative instructions. Clean and disinfect treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and follow infection-control procedures. Monitor inventory, organize supplies, and assist with ordering. Perform additional clinical duties within your training, credentials, and permitted scope. What We're Looking For Dental assisting experience and confidence supporting patient care. Excellent communication skills and a calm, reassuring chairside manner. Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork. Ability to stay organized and anticipate the dentist's needs in a busy practice. Interest in learning new procedures and working with dental technology. Applicable credentials for the duties performed.
