Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider, who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medial sonographer services and its various clinical specialties. The activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policy and procedures and applicable professional standards. Schedule: Part-time | 18 hours every two weeks Day Shift | Variable 9, 10, and 12 hour shifts Every 6th weekend | Rotating holidays Pay and Benefits: Pay starting at $41.14 per hour, pay determined by experience Pay range: $41.14- $61.72 per hour $2,500 hiring bonus Full time benefits : medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Qualifications: Certificate Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program or Associate or Bachelors of Applied Science Degree Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider Card Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) ARDMS Credentialed in one of the following (credentials in multiple specialties preferred): 1) Abdomen 2) OBGYN 3) Pediatric 4) MSK ARDMS Breast credentials required to rotate through Breast Center Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) RVT Registered within 6 months Vascular Experience Preferred To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time position.
