Diesel Mechanic - Trucks & Trailers Location: Harrisburg, PA Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 2+ Years Preferred Join the Feeser's Maintenance Team Feeser's Food Distributors is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team in Harrisburg, PA. We're looking for a hands-on mechanic with experience maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and trailers . If you're comfortable troubleshooting mechanical problems, performing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers Perform preventive maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot engine, electrical, fuel, and drivetrain issues Repair brakes, suspension, axles, bearings, hubs, and lighting systems Service air brake systems Install and repair liftgates, ramps, and related equipment Assist with refrigerated units and HVAC maintenance Complete DOT-related safety inspections Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records What We're Looking For 2+ years of diesel, truck, trailer, or fleet maintenance experience Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues Knowledge of brakes, suspension, electrical, and trailer systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Diesel or automotive technical training is a plus EPA 608, refrigeration, HVAC, welding, or other mechanical certifications are a plus You don't need experience in every area listed above to apply.
