This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week, after a probationary period. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options, may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization.
You will
Analyze, develop, and implement documentation processes, procedures, and practices to ensure activities within the facility are performed in compliance with requirements in federal regulations, institutional procedures, and the facility safety bases.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, facility management, training, and SBK staff to lead the review, revision, and release of operational procedures through established change control processes affecting facility operations, systems, and LLNL programs.
Monitor and oversee document tracking and routing, and ensure revision control using electronic applications (e.g., Enterprise Lifecycle Management-Unclassified [ELM-U]/Windchill) for configuration management of documents.
Identify, establish, monitor, and analyze internal performance metrics; provide reports and recommendations to the SBK Document Compliance Manager.
Develop, lead, and implement strategies for addressing process improvement initiatives that impact major mission areas.
Lead and coordinate complex special projects supporting document management; represent the facility on related programmatic, directorate, and Laboratory-wide initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This position requires an active Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance or active Top-Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at the time of hire.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, English or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Advanced technical composition, writing and editing skills and experience effectively composing professional documentation.

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and to apply project management principles to organize, coordinate, sequence, and accomplish work.
Experience applying advanced organizational skills, demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.
