As a Drainage Engineering Designer, you'll lead the development and coordination of complex transportation drainage design projects, providing advanced technical expertise in stormwater management, hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, culvert and bridge hydraulics, roadway drainage systems, and stormwater conveyance infrastructure. You'll apply sound engineering judgment to evaluate design alternatives, resolve technical challenges, and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions that meet client objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic analyses using industry-standard software and engineering practices to evaluate drainage systems, assess flood risks, and develop solutions that meet regulatory, client, and project requirements.
Coordinate drainage design activities with roadway, structural, traffic, utility, environmental, and municipal stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and the successful delivery of multidisciplinary transportation projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers and engineering staff by reviewing calculations, plans, and technical deliverables; offering guidance on design standards; and supporting professional development efforts.
Support project engineers and project managers with quality assurance and quality control reviews, scope and schedule management, client coordination, and the resolution of complex drainage design challenges throughout project development and construction support phases.
