- 0-3 years’ experience in software engineering
- Strong C/C++ and Linux experience
- Fundamental knowledge in networking
- Familiarity with socket programming
- Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies and software development fundamentals
- Knowledge of Shell and Python
- B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship
- Education: a bachelor's degree or a postgraduate degree

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software components on current and future products.
Responsible for the development of the networking related features of the FortiSwitch product line.
Use AI efficiently to help development and testing
Hands on in bug fixing current products.
Implement software features of high quality and on schedule.
Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
Job Requirements:
0-3 years’ experience in software engineering.
Strong C/C++ and Linux experience is essential.
Fundamental knowledge in networking
Familiarity with socket programming.
Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies as well as software development fundamentals.
Knowledge of scripting languages: Shell and Python
Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship
Educational Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $110,000 - $180,000. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion
