Engineering Design Technician

Engineering Design Technician IMS Gear | Gainesville, GA Are you passionate about engineering, design, and solving technical challenges? IMS Gear is seeking an Engineering Design Technician to support innovative gear technology solutions in a collaborative manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, engineering, sales, and production teams to bring new products and applications to life. What You'll Do Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings. Support product design, development, and custom engineering projects. Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify technical solutions. Review specifications, troubleshoot design issues, and support project execution. Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer service teams. What We're Looking For Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Experience in manufacturing, engineering design, or a related technical field. Strong communication and organizational skills.
