As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.  Join our team today and build an aviation career you’re proud of!   Overview: StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, motivated Mechanical Engineering students for winter and summer term positions (4 or 8 months) to support StandardAero’s production and growth projects for the 2027 winter and/or summer term. This work may cover support in the following areas: * Production Engineering * Service Engineering * Quality Engineering * Operations * Facilities Engineering * Process Engineering * Repair Development   What You'll do: * Develop repairs for engine components. * Reprocess cost evaluation and recommendations for reduction * Develop repair on non-conforming parts * Perform technical manual reviews * Review tooling requirements and implement into shop * Write technical reports and procedures. * Coordinate process improvement initiatives. * Create electronic manual revisions. * Perform engine performance analysis. * Find alternative cleaning, plating, thermal spraying and coatings methods * Assist in engine and accessories troubleshooting * Assist in planning and implementing facility improvements, maintenance projects, and energy efficiency initiatives to support safe and efficient operations. * Other projects as assigned   Required Qualifications: * Must have completed 1st Year of Engineering studies (Bachelor's or Engineering Technology) * Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills. * Strong project management skills. * Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering principles * Working knowledge computers and MS Office experience/knowledge. * Must be available to work for the full summer term, from the first week of May through the last week of August 2027 (4 months) or an 8-month term starting January 2027 * Must be eligible to work in Canada on a permanent basis.   Inclusivity Is Our Standard StandardAero offers equal employment opportunities for all.
