Engineering Lab Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Description: Hobart is seeking a dependable part-time Lab Assistant to support testing activities in a moderate-paced work environment. This position primarily involves general labor and support duties to help ensure efficient lab operations. Responsibilities: Assist lab technicians with testing and related support tasks Perform general labor and housekeeping duties as needed Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications: Mechanical or electrical experience is a plus, but not required Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus, but not required Ability to work in a moderate-paced environment and follow instructions Requirements: Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance, and a solid work ethic Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in a laboratory support environment.
