We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in Ann Arbor . Job Information: Ref. #: 201703 Student: 1 adult (female) who has recently relocated to the US Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's premises near IMRA America in Ann Arbor, MI (48105) Preferred start date: ASAP Details: Availability: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon Lesson Frequency: Three times per week Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session Current English level: Advanced - Wants to be assessed by the teacher Native language: Portuguese; also speaks French Student’s language needs and goals: Being accepted into an MBA school and entering the American job market Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
