Events Team Intern

The Young Automotive Group is Growing Again! We are actively hiring a Part-Time Events Intern to join our team at Young Automotive Group. Interested in gaining hands-on experience in event execution? This is a great opportunity to build practical skills while working alongside our Events Team to support a variety of events throughout Northern Utah. The ideal candidate brings strong organization, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. As an Events Intern, you'll assist our team with setup, takedown, communications, and more. Schedule: Open/flexible availability, up to 40 hours per week. We’ve been recognized as a “Top Workplace” and “Best Company to Work For” in Utah and Idaho for several years and counting—and we’re just getting started.  BENEFITS: * 401k Retirement Plan * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Disability Benefits * Paid Time Off (Up to 3 weeks per year) RESPONSIBILITIES: * Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from event or hospitality courses * A valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Strong organization and attention to detail * Clear, friendly communication — comfortable interacting with guests, vendors, and store teams * Ability to work independently and stay on task without close supervision * Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as events require * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather * Positive attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed QUALIFICATIONS: * Current student or recent graduate in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. * Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. * Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for events. * Open/Flexible availability, up to 40hrs per week Young Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
