Grounds Technician - Site Based

Job Posting Title: Grounds Technician – Site Based Job Description: tdgFacilities, Cincinnati, Ohio is looking for a full-time, year-round Site Based Grounds Technician to support one of our customers located in Northern Cincinnati (Amberley area). Pay Rate: Up to $22.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 5:00am – 1:30pm Benefits Include: Health, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401k. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work courteously with the facilities team and the customer. Maintain clean, safe, and presentable grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, and exterior common areas. Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning and trimming, mulching, and seasonal landscaping to maintain a neat appearance. Serve as the primary on-site grounds technician during winter weather events, performing snow removal, shoveling, snow blowing, and ice care. Safely and properly operate/maintain equipment and tools. Including gas-powered equipment such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, snowblowers, ATV, etc. Assist with interior custodial duties as assigned during periods of reduced outdoor workload, including seasonal downtime or inclement weather. Work courteously with the facilities team and the customer Other tasks assigned to support ongoing facilities activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 1-year commercial grounds maintenance experience. Keen eye for detail, organized, and great attitude. Ability to self-manage and perform each essential duty beyond satisfaction. Excellent problem-solving and time management skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to work overtime periodically. Valid driver's license.
