What you'll do

• Put the child development plans into operation
• Provide a nurturing, responsive, culturally rich, developmentally appropriate program that allows for exploration
• Implement Head Start Performance Standards and other requirements

What you need

• Meet the needs of all children including those at risk, those with special needs, those who are gifted, and those who are culturally diverse.
• Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, data base and/or data entry, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.
• Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.
• Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation’s Personnel Policies.
• Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks.
• Subject to immunization review and submitted proof of required vaccinations.
• Some travel is required.
• Normal physical requirements, including the ability to lift, carry, or restrain a child.
• Walking, standing, bending, stooping and sitting on the floor with children may be necessary.
• Ability to pass annual physical examination.
• All vaccinations must be kept current.
