We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician to help support our growing fleet and keep our equipment ready for the field. Position Overview • Full-time, steady hours • Overtime available • Work on skid steers, mini excavators, lifts, telehandlers, and other construction equipment • Mix of shop work and field service • Consistent year-round workload Responsibilities • Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on construction equipment • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues • Troubleshoot problems quickly and correctly • Prepare equipment so it is job-site ready and reliable • Work with rental and operations teams to keep the fleet moving • Maintain accurate service records and documentation Qualifications • Experience as a mechanic or service technician • Background working on construction, rental, or industrial equipment preferred • Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and mechanical components • Ability to diagnose and repair equipment without guesswork • Solid work ethic and attention to detail • Physically capable of hands-on shop and field work • Valid driver’s license Compensation & Benefits • Overtime opportunities • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401k retirement plan • Paid time off and holidays • Employee equipment discounts • Ongoing training and skill development About ENCON Equipment ENCON Equipment is the fastest growing equipment rental company in America , and we’re just getting started.
