We're looking for a compassionate and dependable PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team serving Kilgore, Texas, and surrounding communities. What You'll Do: Provide skilled nursing visits to hospice patients in their homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluate patient needs. Provide pain management, symptom control, and comfort-focused care. Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Educate patients and families about medications, disease progression, comfort measures, and end-of-life care. Assist with admissions, routine visits, or urgent patient needs based on scheduling and qualifications. Coordinate medications, medical equipment, supplies, and other patient needs. Collaborate with RN Case Managers, LVNs, Hospice Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains, and physicians. Complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the EMR. Provide compassionate emotional support and guidance to patients and families. What We're Looking For: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or qualifying Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license. Previous nursing experience in hospice, home health, skilled nursing, or acute care preferred. Hospice nursing experience is a plus! Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the clinical team. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to exceptional patient care. Current CPR certification. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
