As an Express Lube Technician, you'll handle routine maintenance and inspections quickly and accurately, working with state-of-the-art equipment alongside experienced Toyota technicians. Schedule Morning shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Afternoon shift: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (all technicians) Why Mike Calvert Toyota? Hands-on training from experienced, certified Toyota technicians A clear path to advancement, from Express Lube to Certified Technician and beyond State-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team environment Competitive benefits package Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes, lubrication services, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and clearly document findings, recommendations, and completed work on the repair order Perform minor repairs and help identify basic maintenance needs Tell the service advisor right away when a vehicle needs more work or when a job can't be finished in the scheduled time Inspect and test-drive new vehicles to make sure all features work properly Install Toyota accessories on new vehicles as requested by the customer or dealership Work alongside skilled technicians to learn quality service and repair practices Keep your work area, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe Follow all dealership safety, environmental, and quality standards Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Professional development assistance Paid Toyota Scholarship Program (after one year of employment) Ready to start your automotive career with a team that invests in you? Requirements Qualifications At least 1 year of automotive maintenance experience OR completed automotive technician training Experience with oil changes, basic maintenance, or minor repair work Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality or safety Team-oriented, dependable, flexible, and focused on great customer service Eager to learn new automotive technology and a persistent problem solver Physical Requirements Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for long periods Able to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in a shop environment with noise, fumes, and Houston heat Able to safely operate lifts, tools, and service equipment
