The purpose of this position is to prepare for the Temple Celebration 2027. The Event Services Division exists to "bring forth and establish the cause of Zion" by providing exceptional event coordination, ticketing, staging, and guest services for all Church Headquarters Events. Customers include the First Presidency, Quorum of the Twelve, Quorum of Seventy, Church Auxiliaries, Managing Directors, and all Church Departments.
The Event Setup Technician works under the direct supervision of the Staging Supervisor. This is an entry level job that exists to provide support for setting up and taking down facility equipment for meetings, banquets and performance events at the Conference Center main hall and theater, as well as for all of Church Headquarters facilities along the Wasatch Front area. Staging setups must meet all quality and timeliness measures.
