Description

Job Description: Our Mission At MaxInsights, we enable Robotics Foundation Model companies to access massive, high-quality, scalable training data for embodied AI through our end-to-end data solution platform. While our engineers build bleeding-edge perception algorithms, our Operations and HR teams ensure our engine keeps running smoothly. We are a fast-growing, highly collaborative startup that prioritizes speed and impact, but we also believe in maintaining a relaxed, high-trust environment where our team actually enjoys coming to work. Role Overview We are looking for an execution-minded, friendly, and diligent HR Associate to join our team in Santa Clara. This is a full time, 6-month contract position designed for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of startup operations, human resources, admin, and recruiting. Our team is incredible to work with—expect a 40-hour work week with flexible hours and free daily lunches. Your main goal is to help keep our hiring pipelines moving, keep the office environment up, and assist with managing our candidates and recruiters. What You'll Do Recruiting & Sourcing Support: Work directly in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to schedule interviews or introductory calls for team leads, track candidate progress daily, source potential talent, assist with resume reviews as needed, and document your work clearly for efficient communication within the HR team. On-Site Personnel Management: Help coordinate our on-site interviews with staff. You’ll assist with quick check-ins, tracking daily attendance, collecting/organizing basic paperwork, and keeping the schedule organized. Office Administration & Ambiance Control: Collaborate with our onsite facilities specialist regarding office supplies orders, organization, and management as needed. Basic HR Support: Assist with maintaining basic personnel records, answering general employee questions, and helping onboard new team members. Ideal Candidate Personality: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and a people-person. Be friendly and approachable to candidates while ensuring the office is a warm, welcoming space to current team members. Experience: This is an entry-level position with highly approachable expectations. Any experience in HR, recruitment, administrative support, or customer service is perfect. Language Skills: Proficiency or fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a major plus for communicating with various team leads and global operations. This, however, is optional and only preferable. Software Basics: Comfortable using standard office software (Excel, Google Workspace) and excited to learn how to operate an ATS (Applicant Tracking System). Ownership Mentality: You don't need to be micro-managed. You are self-driven, reliable, and comfortable wearing a few different hats in a startup environment. What We Offer Compensation: Hourly. This is negotiable. Perks: Free daily lunches at the office. Flexible working hours. Growth: Direct mentoring in HR operations, administration, and recruiting systems, serving as an exceptional launchpad for a career in People Operations, Startup Administration, and HR Generalist. Default Benefits: Health insurance Vision care Dental coverage 401(k) Paid holidays PTO (Paid Time Off) Sick leave
