What you'll do
- Help maintain employee records and support compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, training activities, and HR events.
- Assist with new-hire onboarding and orientation.
- Support HR projects and other departmental initiatives.
- Full-time schedule (40 hours weekly)
- Internship Duration: May–August 2027 (12 weeks)
- Practical, hands-on learning with MAPEI’s Human Resources team
- Host Locations: Deerfield Beach FL
- Hourly pay rate up to $23.00, commensurate with the role and location
- Housing stipend consideration may be available in certain situations
- Hands-on experience supporting HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, and payroll
- Mentorship from experienced HR professionals across multiple functional areas
- Permanent full-time job opportunities after graduation
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or a related field (juniors and seniors preferred).

As an HR Generalist Intern, you will work alongside the Human Resources team to support a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, employee engagement, training, and compliance. You will gain hands-on experience in day-to-day HR operations while contributing to projects that support employees and organizational effectiveness. This experience may lead to future opportunities in HR generalist, talent acquisition, or other HR specialist roles.
