We are convinced that greatness only happens when we prioritize these behaviors and the well-being of every person.   Learn more about our Vision, purpose, values - AngloGold Ashanti     About the Role  The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources team in analyzing employee engagement data and developing strategies to enhance workplace culture, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.  This is a project-based internship. Rather than generalized administrative tasks, you will be assigned a core technical project to own from start to finish. This role offers hands-on experience, culminating in an end-of-program presentation to technical leadership.    Key Responsibilities  Take ownership of a dedicated 12-week project, managing timelines and delivering a final report and presentation summarizing key findings and recommendations.  Lead the design and deployment of employee pulse surveys to gather feedback and identify key drivers of employee engagement and workplace culture.   Analyze employee engagement, retention, participation, and sentiment data to evaluate program effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations.   Develop a 12-month employee engagement roadmap, including events, recognition programs, and community-building initiatives aligned with company values.   Support the planning, coordination, and promotion of employee communications and cultural awareness initiatives.   Create reports, presentations, and recommendations that help enhance the employee experience, strengthen retention, and support strategic workforce planning.   Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and the development of data-driven strategies for future employee engagement investments.  Other duties as assigned    Qualifications & Requirements  Currently enrolled as a rising senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.   Strong written and verbal communication skills.   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  Experience with survey design, research, data analysis, or employee engagement initiatives is preferred. Experience in SharePoint and/or Microsoft Power Automate a plus.  Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present recommendations clearly.   Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic team environment.   Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.    Fall Recruitment Timeline & Hiring Milestones  September 15 – October 30, 2026 (Application Review): Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
