Imaging Technologist Aide- PRN (as needed) Opportunity

Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a PRN Imaging Technologist Aide in the Vallejo, San Francisco, Santa Rosa, San Rafael and Martinez, CA areas. Work Schedule: As needed position (PRN) Flexible scheduling with 8,10, and 12 hour shifts available depending on site needs Ability to travel to all locations: Vallejo San Francisco Santa Rosa San Rafael Martinez The ideal candidate must possess: High school diploma or equivalent required CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required Certified Medical Assistant preferred Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred Patient care experience strongly preferred Self-starter with the ability to multi-task Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care Team player with a positive attitude Travel may be required, travel allowance is offered Duties and Responsibilities will include: Greeting and directing patients Confirming and registering patients Verifying all necessary information is available for the test Greeting and directing patients Confirming and registering patients Verifying all necessary information is available for the test Ability to walk to and from hospital and trailer as needed Assist patients in and out of the trailer Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table Assist in setting up MRI or PET/CT scanning rooms Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan rooms and control areas Ordering supplies Other responsibilities as directed We value our employees and we want them to be healthy and happy. The hourly range for this role is $23/hr. to $25/hr., with daily guaranteed overtime for (10-12 hour shifts) however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
