Cap Markets Intern Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) OneMain Financial is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated intern to join our organization. In this 12 week, paid and hybrid internship, you’ll get hands-on experience as you apply your talents, creativity, and passion inside a large consumer lending finance organization. No matter the projects, you’ll have the opportunity to explore, while learning from experts in consumer lending in a close-knit team environment. Whether you want to develop your strategic thinking or grow other skills, you’ll leverage the knowledge and perspectives gained to accelerate your career growth. In the Role: Apply strategic thinking to solve complex, unstructured business problems. Turn your proposals into reality by working cross-functionally to get them deployed. Actively contribute to our team’s vibrant culture through sharing knowledge, helping peers, and generally being a great person to work with. Develop creative solutions to improve the company’s decision making, the customer’s experience, and shareholder returns. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master's degree (examples: Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Biostatistics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Data Analysis, Computer Science). Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex problems. Proven experience (in an academic, athletic, volunteer, or employment context) working with teams of diverse individuals to deliver complex projects. Highly organized and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Demonstrate curiosity, creative problem solving, integrative business thinking, teamwork, and bias for action.
