Job Title:  Intern, Mechanical Engineering  Job Code:  45396 Job Location:  Carlsbad, CA Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off             Essential Functions:    Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required        Qualifications:    Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field at an accredited university.         Preferred Additional Skills:    CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $25.50/hr - $48/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
