Peco Foods Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lab Assistant for our Corporate Microbiology Lab to support sample preparation and laboratory operations.
This is a part-time position Wednesday-Saturday each week.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 1 year of college coursework with a strong emphasis in life sciences.
Competent math and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Must be able to follow written procedures
Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays.
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to work alone
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in laboratory technology
Experience in basic laboratory procedures
Experience in chemical safety procedures
