What you'll do
- Collaborate with facility staff and administration, when appropriate, to provide an integrated patient experience.
- Document visit notes within 24 hours of the visit.
- Provide psychotherapy to patients and occasionally to their families.
- Demonstrate compassion and commitment to patients.
- Master’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited university.
- Active LCSW license in good standing.
- Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred but not required).
- Independent work environment. You are empowered to make your own decisions and work on your own within the facility.
- Make a genuine impact. Anxiety, depression, dementia, grief and loss and a variety of other mental health conditions are prominent challenges in nursing home populations. As an LCSW with UltaCare Medical, you’ll have the opportunity to use your skills and expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these residents.

About the Job: Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Onsite Psychotherapy. Type: Employee (Part Time) Three days a week. Salary: Fee for service. Job Overview: UltaCare Medical, a leader in providing on-site healthcare services, is currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential psychotherapy (talk therapy) services to residents of a nursing home. We remove the common burdens associated with many other similar roles. We take care of all billing, credentialing, dealing with insurance, and other administrative tasks. This enables you to focus on what you are trained to do best, provide valuable talk therapy to the nursing home residents.
