What you'll do
- Accuratelytrack,coordinate, andupkeepthe lighting inventory
- Ensure that equipment leaves the shoppreppedat or above company standards, within the constraintsof the client's specifications including the responsibility to meet client specific deadlines
- Coordinatethe flow ofinbound and outbound gear in relation to show prep, testing fixtures, and keeping the lighting inventory on the latest approved firmware
- Perform basic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs andassistthe service department as timepermits.
- Develop and/or improve packaging of Clairlightingsystems
- Collaborate on a regular basis with Clairlightingoperations personnel
- Continue to remainup-to-dateon latest lighting technologies and standards within the liveentertainmentindustry
- Perform such other duties and functions asrequiredfrom time to time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : The Lighting Quality Control Coordi n ator (QC Coordinator ) assumes primary responsibility for coordinat ing everyday operations of maintaining , testing, and cleaning of all fixtures, consoles, rack gear, atmospherics, and other lighting specific gear within the inventory. QUALIFICATION S/ REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion. Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to various groups of internal and external customers High level attention to detail and accuracy Ability to coordinate teammates of various levels to assist in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the lighting inventory Ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently Must be computer literate with a willingness to improve knowledge base moving forward EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE : Familiarity with moving and static lights - LED & lamp based sources, consoles, networking , 3-phase power, Familiarity with various markets of the live events industry – corporate, festivals, dry rentals Experience using hand tools and power tools Working knowledge of ERP systems Experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching employees RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Accuratel y track, coordinat e, and upkeep the lighting inventory Ensure that equipment leaves the shop prepped at or above company standards, within the constraints of the client's specifications including the responsibility to meet client specific deadlines Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound gear in relation to show prep, testing fixtures, and keeping the lighting inventory on the latest approved firmware Perform basic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs and assist the service department as time permits . Develop and/or improve packaging of Clair lighting systems Collaborate on a regular basis with Clair lighting operations personnel Continue to remain up-to-date on latest lighting technologies and standards within the live entertainment industry Perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time
