The opportunity
LiCAP Technologies is scaling a first-of-its-kind dry electrode production line at our new Sacramento facility — and we're building the team that will run it. As a Machine Operator, you'll work hands-on with advanced battery materials manufacturing equipment, helping produce cathode electrodes using our proprietary Activated Dry Electrode® (ADE®) process. No prior battery experience required — we'll train you. What we need is reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
What you'll do
Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment for dry electrode and battery materials processing
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and safety
Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and first-line maintenance on machinery
Record production data, material usage, and equipment readings accurately
Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Collaborate with shift leads and engineers to identify and resolve process issues
Participate in training on LiCAP's ADE® process and equipment as part of onboarding
What we're looking for
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, or weekends as scheduled
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment — standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing PPE
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
Basic mechanical aptitude — prior hands-on experience a plus, not required
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
