What you'll do
- The Registered Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care by preparing treatment rooms, patients, and instruments while assisting the doctor during procedures.

What you need
- Candidates must hold a California Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant license along with X-ray and Coronal Polish certifications.
- A current BLS certification is required, and previous dental experience or relevant education is preferred.

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Orthodontics - $2,500 Sign-on Bonus
Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
Pay Range: $20.77-$27.84/hr (Based on experience)

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists the doctor in procedures
Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
Prophy teeth
Instructs patients on oral hygiene
Chart and treatment plan with doctor
Sterilizes instruments
Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
Take IO's
Charting
Sealants, if applicable
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
California Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant License
X-Ray Certification
Coronal Polish Certification
Current BLS certification
Sealant Certification, preferred
